BENEFITS
Our team of specialized technicians work hard to recondition the 3D printers entrusted to us by our manufacturer partners. We receive 3D printers from major online sales platforms, and we restore them to nominal condition before shipping them to their new owners in the entire Europe.
As for machines that cannot be repaired, we prepare them for environmentally friendly recycling, by relying on a network of local partners mainly from associations and the circular economy.
RECONDITIONING
For each machine processed, the parts are all individually tested: card, motors, axes, etc.
Accessories are counted, tested and replaced if necessary.
Only the outer packaging is kept as is, to avoid the transport of bulky packaging whose ecological impact would be inappropriate.
RECYCLING
When a machine arrives in a state which unfortunately does not allow it to be saved, it is systematically dismantled and the parts are sorted to be made available to our recycling department.
But before reaching this regrettable end, we contact our network of local partners, associations and the circular economy, to try to find a second life for them. So pieces of 3D printers become robots, educational school projects, and even works of art.
ABOUT REFURB3D
Tours 3D Services was founded at the end of 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, and since our first day of activity we have been providing high quality repair services to our customers and partner manufacturers of 3D printers. By collecting the machines returned to them on their behalf, we prevent them from being transported to the end of the world, or destroyed if necessary.
On the contrary, thanks to our team of experienced professionals, we give them a second life. We have the original spare parts and labor necessary to guarantee complete satisfaction to their new owner.
